East Coast Martial Arts first opened its doors in 1996 in Gales Ferry and was strictly a Taekwon Do school. Over the course of the next 20+ years, we have expanded our curriculum to include disciplines such as Hapkido, Jeet Kune Do, Israeli Martial Arts and more.

We are the most comprehensive school in the area and we take great pride in our curriculum, which encompasses ages from 3 to 93! Our students come from all over the world, having trained students from as far away as Ireland and Finland and we are actually holding regular classes in Okinawa...one of the benefits of having some of our instructors in the Navy!
